Bruce R. Knox, MD
Dr. Bruce Ramsay Knox is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with extensive experience in neuroradiology. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia, graduating with distinction in 1981. Dr. Knox received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1987, followed by an internship in internal medicine and a residency in radiology. He completed his neuroradiology fellowship at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
With over 30 years of medical expertise, Dr. Knox brings his advanced neuroradiology skills and a special focus on orthopedic MRI to the team at Open Air MRI of Lake Charles, offering patients professional diagnostics and high-quality care.
Victor A. McCoy, MD
Dr. Victor A. McCoy is a board-certified radiologist with advanced training in diagnostic and neuroradiology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from Louisiana State University before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. Following his internship in internal medicine, Dr. McCoy completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he served as Chief Resident.
His notable publications include studies on fungal sinusitis and radiofrequency tissue ablation. Dr. McCoy has received awards such as the Radiological Society of North America’s Certificate of Merit and the Stewart R. Reuter, M.D. Award. He holds medical licenses in Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Oregon, and has served in both the Louisiana Army National Guard and the United States Air Force Reserve.
Kathryn M. Nutter, M.D.
Dr. Katherine M. Nutter is a highly skilled radiologist with a long background in diagnostic imaging. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Mississippi State University and has published research in the Journal of the Mississippi State Medical Association. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, followed by a specialized fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology.
Dr. Nutter is a published researcher, providing an investigative study on esophageal diverticula for the Journal of the Mississippi State Medical Association in 2004. She is currently a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Medical Association, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Nutter is licensed to practice in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Oregon.
